| More than 200 volunteers are needed for the 74th Annual Monterey County Fair to be held September 1-6, 2010 at the Fairgrounds in Monterey.
In exchange for time, volunteers will receive free passes to the Fair! Volunteers must be at least 16 years old—High School volunteers who meet the age requirement can earn community service credits for their work. From July 26th to September 12th, there are a variety of shifts and duties available to choose from to fit everyone’s interest. Volunteer duties include working with the exhibit entries, setting up buildings and monitoring exhibits set up during the Fair and taking them down afterwards.
