Kim Chappell wrote this about her daughter Savannah:
During spring break, I wanted to take a family vacation to Disneyland. My 5 year old daughter, Savannah, asked if we could visit Gram in Fresno instead.
She explained to me we can do something fun in Fresno and include Gram. Gram is battling depression since the loss of Grandpa three years ago.
Everyday Savannah tells the truth and follows the rules. When we are in stores, she finds it important to put back items that have been misplaced by a previous customer. She is always on the lookout for trash on the ground so that she can pick it up and throw it away.
For Easter, she noticed the Bunny did not leave anything for Mom or Dad, so she gave me her only chocolate bunny and her father all the jelly beans since those are his favorite. She did ask to taste one. She is always willing to share even when the item is a special treat. |
