Dani wrote this of her son:
Most of the time I hear about big-brothers tormenting their siblings. Jonah's little brother, Micah, is 6 and truly admires his big brother - a whole bunch.
When Micah had a horrible headache recently and was tossing his little cookies (vomiting) he called out for his big brother Jonah. Jonah happened to be running out the door with my husband, Steve, as they were heading to a favorite place - the library - for returns and new check-outs. With Micah calling his name through tears and pain, Jonah stopped in his tracks (even though dad was in the car, which was running in the driveway, awaiting his arrival) and high-tailed it back to Micah to offer lots of TLC, rub his back, shoulders and head. Jonah shared many tender thoughts and promised Micah he'd be 'right back' adding that he wouldn't go to the library if Micah preferred him to stay. Micah quietly said, "it's okay, go". Jonah gave him gentle kisses on the head and ran off to return with 3 of Micah's favorite snuggle-buddies saying, "hold these until I get back and I'll read to you...".
Jonah's teacher calls him her 'gentle prince' and we feel the same. He's a caring, compassionate, little man who we cannot be more proud. Thanks for the opportunity to share!!
